Growing in North Louisiana! September 29 2015, 1 Comment
It's been an exciting 2 1/2 years at The Fleurty Ginger Boutique! My dream of bringing fashion forward clothing for the plus size woman to North Louisiana started as a small Facebook store and store in my dining room. My dream grew into having Louisiana's First Fashion Truck that rolled around North Louisiana bringing affordable fashion to ladies around the region! As my customers wanted more items to shop, I opened a small store in West Monroe. My customers quickly let me know that we needed a larger space, so I opened a 3,000+ square foot store on Bell Lane in West Monroe. This new store attracted people from all over North Louisiana and South Arkansas. We even have customers drive from Oklahoma, Texas, and Mississippi to shop at our store. The Bell Lane location will still be our main store, housing a wider variety of items to choose from.
Due to the increased demand, the Lord opened up an awesome opportunity for a 2nd location to open in Monroe on Forsythe Ave! He opened the doors by bringing a wonderful lady, Peggy Lockhart, to our door with an opportunity that was to good to be true and then the next day Lisa Perillo walked in our store looking for a position with The Fleurty Ginger Boutique. I looked at my husband and said "Guess what? We are opening a store in Monroe!" He was excited because we already had plans to do this next year. God's timing is a little better than my husbands!
On October 1, 2015, we will have our 2nd location in North Louisiana open for customers throughout the area to shop for fashionable clothing at very affordable prices. We are sticking to our commitment to keeping most items under $40 (except linen), while focusing on Plus Size clothing and offering a smaller selection of Small-Large clothing.
I want to thank all of my customers for their dedication and support in helping to ensure that everyone in our community knows about The Fleurty Ginger Boutique! From starting with a staff of 1 to now a staff of 9, we look forward to serving all of you for many years to come!
